This is a perforated plate made with either 400 or 500 Brinell hardness. Material thickness ranges from 3/16” to 3”. We customize hole size, geometry, and pattern to customer specifications.

 

Schaffer Specialty Welding uses an automated welding system to insure its quality and uniformity in its Grizzly Bars. We use tungsten carbide particles with an 800 Brinell hardness deposited into a hard facing weld with a 600 Brinell hardness. This combination is deposited on to a base metal of 400 Brinell. Most grizzly bars are 1” to 3” thick. We customize every order to your specifications on geometry and thickness.
 

Schaffer Specialty Welding can help in replacement screen box frames. We recommend the use of our quenched and tempered 400 Brinell plate for frames that require constant replacement. Send us your prints for a prompt quote.
